the beer garden is beautiful in late summer, beautiful view of the rhine and the park island in ludwishafen. good food, competent, fast service and cuisine, even when there is a lot of activity. I like to come back here when the coronavirus is over!

I found the offer particularly appealing. The waiters are always extremely hardworking and friendly without ceasing! My sisters and I the restaurant is suitable for all occasions, whether with friends, friends or family. The taste there is a great pleasure. The quantities are in a good and filling league.

Very tasty food! In the summer perfect to sit outside, the staff is always friendly and quick! Also suitable for large groups :)

A pleasant place on the Rhine, with a large terrace and a spacious indoor room for those days of bad weather. The service is attentive and the food is of good quality. We enjoyed the wine and the dish of the day. The meat was tender and tasty. The fish was perfect, well seasoned, chewy and not dry, as one might have feared. The Pflammkuchen was delicious, very thin and crispy to perfection. The creme brulee could have been toasted a little more on the surface, it wasn't crisp enough. But the raspberry sorbet that came with it was very good. The other dessert we ordered was more kumquats than oranges but the bergamot sorbet was good. We can definitely recommend. It’s not gourmet cuisine, but this restaurant doesn’t make any pretense either.

The spinach dumplings are just awesome! Even if it's not the cheapest restaurant, the food is delicious and the service was also very nice and attentive!

Got Maultaschen with meat, although ordered VEGAN. When complaining to the waiter, he was 99.9% sure that it was vegan, but generously brought them back into the kitchen: see that- MEAT !! Mistakes happen, but something like that is unacceptable and I found it really disgusting to be put in the meat-filled Maultasche to both of them and then by the waiter to be portrayed as being stupid. The restaurant has to offer the customer compensation for this (as is done in many restaurants when orders are incorrect) - but unfortunately none of this here !! Too bad.

A little more expensive, the food and drinks, as they are bought locally, but really to be recommended. There are dishes on the menu that you would not find in a normal economy. Exceptional and totally delicious😋👍🏽 It's really fun here to try new things 😍 Has never been disappointed 👍🏽

Good to sit outside by the river when it's warm

Good inn with a beautiful view. The food is very well prepared. They know their trade! The service has always been friendly so far. The restaurant is very nicely located and also romantic.

On 09/12 The five of us wanted to have dinner in this restaurant at 15:45. Many tables were free or reserved from 6 p.m. Unfortunately we weren't allowed in. The nice gentleman at the entrance refused us with the note no place. Pity! Apparently this restaurant has not suffered any losses from Corona.

Great view of the Rhein, professional, attentive staff, and good food, even if it's a little pricey.

The location is really great and the restaurant is well furnished. Unfortunately the portions are not really big. Had ordered chicken breast with fries and salad. There were two pieces of meat which I didn't find much. The chicken salads were pretty simple. Only green salad (with croutons) and paid just under € 18 for it. In terms of taste everything was ok, but MUCH too expensive. The drinks too. Our condition was fine. But not particularly friendly either. We will not come back. Unfortunately, a great view is not everything.

A beautiful place with a view of the water, the kitchen is very good. However, the drinks prices prevented the 5th star. A bag of tea with a small cup of water for 4.50 € shocked me. Unfortunately, I didn't look at the menu beforehand, which the somewhat more relaxed waiter pointed out to me when I asked him for fun if he would please wrap the teabag for me, because for the money it has to be magical and I'll make a second infusion at home .. ..

Very nice restaurant on the bank. Ate vegan Maultaschen, they were delicious. Suckling pig crust was delicious too. Food and location great.

Great location on the river under big old trees. Nice beer garden, great restaurant, nice service. The food was very tasty for all of us, great salad dressings and the famous burger was juicy and original toppings. The dessert is a very successful composition of creme brulee and raspberry parfait

More appearance than being! The operation has their hands full. Unfortunately in vain friendly as the kitchen doesn't even get the sausage salad properly. Far too much oil, hardly any vinegar, and the cook has no idea about salt or pepper. Even on my bad days, I make a better sausage salad! It's a shame as this restaurant used to be very good.

Great ambience, really lovely view. The staff were attentive and the service was very quick. The food was delicious! Although somewhat different to what I'd imagined... The only down side was the seats were really uncomfortable. But I'd highly recommend the restaurant anyway!

Food is excellent. The chicken was great and the salad cooked just right. Staff very helpful and nice. Only the prices are sometimes a bit too high, in my opinion. Especially with the drinks. Otherwise everything was great.

No question, you sit here very nice. One has the look Rhein away from the busy roads. The food was very tasty. However, I think the prices are too high. To come more often, should be used at this point.

We come from Munich and we almost fell off our prices ... If the quality offered is also below average, the fun stops. A normal 0.5l beer for € 6.30 - and then Pilsener too. We really couldn't believe that. The outside area is not at all inviting or nicely decorated. The restaurant lives only from the location on the water - typical tourist catcher ... 2 stars for the friendly waiter - otherwise not recommended.

Amazing view of the Rhine.

Lovely place located right on the banks of the river Rhine, this place offers great food both in- and outdoors, much of which is prepared with ingredients from local or regional suppliers. Likewise, the selection of wines has some of the region's finest and caters to every taste. Staff are very friendly and attentive. Will come again.

Nice place near to river

It was really nice there. You can either sit inside or outside and have a wonderful view of the Rhine and the other bank in the Lindenhof district. There is delicious, selected food. It is not cheap but definitely worth every penny! Will come back for sure!

Met some friends for dinner and got to enjoy the sunset on the Rhine. The setting near the river is so lovely and if the weather is good, there’s an outdoor seating area. I ordered mussels in wine sauce from the North Sea while my friends ate the blood sausage. The restaurant is very large and there’s even a big bar in the room. It’s also very cosy and has a romantic setting because of the location and views of the Rhine. The restroom could use more rigorous cleaning. Overall, a lovely restaurant for lunch or dinner while watching boats, barges go by...

Very nice Location and clearly nicely located at the Rhein. Food used to be better in the past and Service appears slightly complicated. Salad was not fully fresh.

The "Rheinterrassen" restaurant is located in a park on the banks of the Rhine near the Mannheim train station. The staff is attentive and the kitchen is good. From the inside of the restaurant you have a great view of the park and the Rhine. There is a great outside terrace.

The service was a bit slow but the food was excellent.

We were very surprised by this place. Location was a but odd to find as its not near any major road but it is right by the riverbank eith lofs if green areas around. In summer is just fantastic. The place itself is huge, able to accommodate 100+ guests although some areas are closed at times, understandably so. A great place to organize a party. The service was capable, friendly, quick and helpful. The food was delicious with a very wide range of choices. The prices were on average or slightly above average but the quality of the food was completely worth it. Menu focuses mostly on german cuisine, so it's a great place to take visitors. All in all a great experience and definitely a place to visit if you are in the area and have the opportunity to do so; especially in the summer.

Excellent food and excellent service!

Good dinner but not spectacular. Food was ok - can recommend the Pfälzisch-Französische Vorspeisenplatte. Main courses ok, but come with pasta that is overcooked. Wine selection is also average and wines per glass are very expensive (prices per bottle are ok). Service and Location are top! 👍🏽

Nice location, particularly in summer. Great outdoor seating with a view on the Rhine. German cuisine with a French touch. Not cheap, but high quality food.

Except for the fact that we had to wait a long time for the waiter's attention to have the drinks after receiving the menu, everything was okay. the junior waiter made a much better impression than the established one. it was a computational day. Furniture and atmosphere were perfect. Food drinks and desserts were also delicious and impeccable.
